Special Events
The MFRC offers a good variety of family events such as the Winterfest party (February), Spring party (April), Open House/Family Day (August), Halloween party (October) and Christmas party (December). Events provide a welcoming atmosphere and a reminder to the community that the MFRC is there for them. Each party encourages friendship, sharing of resources in the community, developing a support system, and checking out resources. Also, it’s a great way to meet new families and chat with them.
The special events are for everybody and the cost is $5.00 per family (parents plus one child) and $2.00 for each additional child before the registration date. Pre-registration is required.
