The MIL is a toll free number for families of deployed Canadian Military Personnel. If you wish to speak to a counselor the line is available from 8:00 am to midnight EST, Monday to Friday with the exception of statutory holidays. Automated messages are available 24 hours a day. Services are confidential.

Procedures:
- Step 1: Dial 1-800-866-4546 or 995-8645
- Step 2: Dial the code below (1111, 1241, 128,…) to listen to messages from various units
- Step 3: At any time, press the star key (*) to listen to previous options or other messages
- Step 4: Press 0 for assistance or to speak directly to line personnel during business hours (Eastern Standard Time) which are Monday to Friday 8:00 am to 16:30 pm.
- Step 5: Outside business hours, you can leave us a message and we will return you call
- Step 6: Simply hang up when you wish to end the call.
