Relocation can be a stressful time for military members and their families. It is the reason why the Moose Jaw MFRC offers resources, programs and services to help everyone adapt quickly to their new surrounding.
Some of the information we can provide includes:
- Resource library in French and English for kids and adults
- DVD and videos
- Community information
- 15 Wings information
- Child Care, Day Care, Preschool, School lists
- List of available doctors and dentists
- Clubs and organizations
- Variety of Information Packages from Canadian Bases and Detachments available for military families to borrow.
French resources
This program is dedicated to promote French language and culture and welcome everyone to practice and improve their French.
Services include:
- French resource library for adults and kids (magazines, books, video, DVD)
- French greeting cards
- French programs (dinners, outings, kids activities)
- Interpreters & translator to assist French speakers
Our programs and special events offer a wide variety of opportunities to meet new people and to learn about all the services offered by the Military Family Resource Centre, 15 Wing and the town of Moose Jaw.

Likewise, if you or someone you are sponsoring is being posted in to Moose Jaw this year, we would be very happy to supply you/them with a copy of our current Welcome package. Posted? If you would like to familiarize yourself with your new base, the Moose Jaw MFRC has welcome packages from all of the Military Family Resource Centres throughout Canada, the US and Overseas. Packages can be taken out on loan from the MFRC, or we can contact your destination and make arrangements to have an up-to-date copy with information that is specific to your needs sent directly to your home.
