Personal Growth and Development
The Moose Jaw MFRC promotes personal growth, skills development, and social and community engagement. It is our goal to give the family members opportunities to share common experiences and to develop informal and supportive relationships with peers by offering various classes, workshops, training sessions and special events held throughout the year. The planned activities are meant to complement the work of existing community supports and activities. Whenever possible, linkages are formed with other community groups and agencies to meet the needs of the community. A comprehensive list of programs and services offered by community partners is maintained.
The Moose Jaw MFRC relies heavily on volunteers to help plan, coordinate, and facilitate these activities. You are encouraged to contact the MFRC, if you are interested in volunteering, or if you have a suggestion for a workshop or class that you believe others would also be interested in.

Scrap Booking & Stamping Box
Available to borrow is an inventory of equipment that can be used to make scrapbooks, cards, invitations and gift tags. For a small fee of $5 per year, you can borrow these items for a two-week period. There are plenty of tools to choose from to create your own unique project! Shaped Cake Pan Rental Service
We have seven different shaped pans that you can rent for a small fee (3$) to make your own birthday cake for your children or for a special occasion. Choose between a teddy bear, a fire truck, a prince/princess crown, Tinkerbell and a pirate… and maybe more to come! SEWING MACHINE RENTAL
Sewing machines are available for rental at the MFRC. The Husqvarna Sarah machines are versatile and user-friendly. If you have a project that you need to get done, this is a great opportunity for you. The rental is a two-week term with a fee of $10 per term. A damage deposit is required which will be refunded once the machine is returned in good working order. Let your creativity soar. Call 694-2273 for more information about this opportunity.
